What are the benefits of mixing 91 and 100? Usually when I fill it exclusively with 116 I can feel a tremendous difference within 1000 feet after I fuel it up. However I'm $100 bucks out the pocket with a half empty tank by the time I get it back to L.A.. So I guess my questions are: 1) Can the benefits of a full tank of 100+ octane be duplicated by the right mixture of 91 and 100+? 2) What is the highest tolerable octane level (i.e. 100, 111, 116 octane) an internally ported and polished (Extrude Honed) VG30DETT can handle? 3) Does anyone have any high octane horror stories?
